Ames, Iowa
Sponsored by Friends of Iowa Civil Rights, Inc., an independent non-profit corporation, the Iowa Mosaic Diversity Conference is the premier statewide training and networking opportunity for those interested in human diversity.
The 2010 theme is The Changing Diversity Footprint: From Reflex to Inclusion. All participants have unique opportunities to learn about the wealth of diversity that exists in Iowa. The workshops, presented by state and national experts, provide quality, interactive learning experiences. A special networking event in the Exhibitor Hall will provide attendees with the chance to learn more about businesses, agencies, and others embracing the benefits of diversity.
Featured speaker, Michael Sidney Fosberg, will present Incognito. The story unfolds as a mystery for the actor and the audience, as he searches for his biological father. The structure of the story allows the audience to make their own discoveries in the moment along with Michael, discoveries about themselves, and their perceptions of identity and stereotypes.
